Artists Against Aids

If you live in the Champaign-Urbana, IL area, stop in at the Artists Against Aids Art Exhibition and Sale, Friday, April 28 – Monday, May 1, 2006.

The location is 112 West Church Street, Champaign, IL, the Old Gallery Building next to the Great Impasta Restaurant.

At least 50% of the purchase price of the artwork goes to The Greater Community Aids Project, which provides services for AIDS sufferers and their families.

I have entered 3 acrylic studies of cat eyes. (This is my first painting exhibition.)

My friend, Lucy Seaman, has entered some stunning Starscapes (oil), as well as some Western Cowboy scenes.

It's a great cause and you'll find a wide variety of artwork.

THanks for the word about the Artists’ Against Aids. Looks like it’s a great success this year and maybe we’ll sell some art!

  2. Love this, Helen, how seeing God in our lives is seeing Him for others. Praying for healing and comfort and peace during this time. Click
